To design and deploy the Lean Services methodology for key account and business teams within a multinational IT services organisation. In addition, we were asked to provide Lean Services education and tools for the 11,000 members of staff within UK & Ireland using a virtual learning approach.
We designed the methodology to accelerate the deployment from 16 weeks to 4 weeks. Our approach also dramatically improved the impact and take-up of Lean tools and methods due to the engaging and collaborative methods we utilised. We provided training and materials for key employees within the client organisation to enable them to deliver the solution in-house.
We developed branding and guidelines for all programme collateral, including a referencing system that allowed quick and simple identification and categorisation of documents. Design outcomes included processes and materials for workshops, strategies for communicating dynamic information in the workplace and tools for collaborative mapping and data capture. As a result of our involvement, the client were able to accelerate programme deployment time by 400%, and increased the effectiveness of the programme to enable the realisation of bottom line benefits totalling £16m open per annum.
We have provided a Learning Management System that enables users to explore available courses through an engaging visual interface. The LMS enables course and performance tracking and a range of wider functionality. We worked closely with the client, 3D and interactive designers, learning and education experts and video producers, to provide a number of Lean and other e-learning courses that are immersive, focused on delivering behavioural change and meet industry standards for compatibility and accessibility.
