A large professional services organisation wanted to create an engaging, impactful, and motivational game experience for over 10,000 participants. The objective was to raise awareness of how individual commercial decisions affect the wider success of the firm, and to do so in a way that felt accessible, competitive, and engaging—rather than instructional or abstract.
Solution
Ludic Media Studio designed and delivered a mobile-first Decision Game built around fictional business and project scenarios. Players are presented with immediate problems or questions from characters such as line managers, team members, clients, or contractors, and must make a decision by swiping left or right. Each decision has consequences, directly impacting a set of success KPIs including client relationship, revenue, project morale, and solution quality. Participants progress through levels, aiming to achieve the highest blended scores. All decisions are tracked, enabling deep analytics into engagement and capability focus areas, while a points system and leaderboard introduce light competition between users.
Impact
The Decision Game successfully engaged a large, distributed audience in a playful yet competitive learning experience. By making the consequences of decisions visible through live scoring, the game helped participants better understand how their choices influence overall project and business outcomes. At an organisational level, the experience generated valuable data on engagement and decision patterns, demonstrating how interactive, game-based communication can scale awareness and insight across thousands of participants.
